Usually a rotation between Phelps Amp Black, White, and Pink. Been liking the Pink a lot lately

White Amp with the Maverick now and then.

Whichever one I have in my pouch that is putting out the most sound. Always have a few Phelps and I like the white primos but it isn’t the loudest.

I’m using my Pinhoti grey ghost call. If you hear a turkey cut after your bugle you’ll know it’s me

Charlie Smith Purple Amp and the aluminum tube is loud as hell and really reachs out.

Of those killed more elk with the Pitch Black. Not sure why.

Have 2 Riven calls I'm playing with, no idea if I'll use them yet this season.

Pro tip, if a metal domed call doesn't sound good out of the package, I flatten the dome a little in an effort to "tune" it. Not always a magic fix but often an improvement.

The riven calls I’ve tried (bought 2 last year) had good sound but I couldn’t get great volume. Probably just a me thing but when I put maximum air across them they would flap out. I’ll probably grab another this year to try if I find one designed for herd bull type sounds
