I really like Ramcats; they fly exactly with my field points which makes sense with the super short ferrule design and the airfoils on the tip. They also have integrated o-rings that go inside the insert that keep the head aligned as they screw in. They are very durable; i have bent blades but never broken one. Big ole cut at 1.5" diameter; but the best feature is how they fly.

Slick Tricks work nicely. As a general rule, I don’t like mechanical broad-heads though

100g/125g slicktrick - great
100 exodus - great
200g/180g valk shortjags - great
Favorite is the jags for sure and it’s not really even close. The other ones were amazing heads though and I don’t have a bad thing to say.

Atac heads if I’m using 125 grains, this year I added some extra weight and used 175 grain tooth of the arrows. Both heads killed elk, arrow weight in either instance 550 to 605. I would use the 125 grain tota heads but I don’t like the vented blades. Going back to a 250 cut short and using the 175 tota since they left impressive holes and are easy to sharpen with the tota arrow sharpener. Should come in 575 ish, I love to tinker with arrows and fixed heads landing on one piece heads with no vents as my favorite

Shot 3 blade Muzzys for years, took 9 animals in Africa with them and nothing went over 60 yards after the hit.
Moved on to the ViperTricks and had great results with them. Several deer just stood there after being hit with them.
Being the tightwad that I am, I moved on the VPA V100 heads. No blades to buy, shoot the head for practice and touch it up and go hunt. So far, I’ve taken a hog and 3 deer with the same head and it’s ready to go again later this week.
The deer Friday was a 30 yard shot and a 20 yard run. Watched him fall.
They take a little more work than just changing blades, but I don’t mind. Adds to the experience.

Vpa 3 blades. I’ve shot multiple animals with the same head and put em right back in service after a light touch up. Really haven’t had a reason to even try another head in yrs.

Current use QAD exodus and I don’t have a single complaint about them. They fly exactly like a field point does. Shot 4 deer with them and none of them made it over 60 yards. I do want to try grizzly’s or ironwills in the near future.

Been a big fan of the 125 G5 strikers. They’ve killed plenty of critters for me and fly just like my field points to 100 yards.

I like my 125 Cutthroats, but they are a bit of a pain to sharpen as they won’t sharpen right on my Stay Sharp.
