What's the go-to now that Black Ovis/Camofire is gone?

This…lol. For any entrepreneurs out there maybe a few of us should get together and fill a void. Sounds like an opportunity.

Let’s go!

A question though, why shut it down and not sell or reorganize? I don’t have any inside info that someone on here might have.

Was someone already positioned to compete and saw no need to buy them out? Or were they just too deep in the hole to even be marketable?

I would think their supply chain and site were worth a lot on their own.

Being $4.2M in the hole makes them to deep to be anywhere near marketable in my opinion

I just google the item I want to buy and buy it from who ever has the best price.

I heard 1shot gear is the place to go now
Haha leave my little golden buddies alone 😂 they are a solid shop, their social media game might be a little slow and uninformed, but they are passionate and try to take care of their customers

One place I’ve always kept an eye on is dvor.com. It’s the fire sale branch of optics planet. I’ve gotten a lot of good ammo, reloading components, scopes, packs, and clothes off there over the years. Not all of their deals are that great, but some of them really are. It is admittedly more tactical focused than hunting focused, but a lot of good hunting stuff still goes across there.

They run brands like Redding, Nosler, Hornady, Trijicon, Mystery Ranch, Kryptek, and a number of others regularly.
