What’s going on with Hanwag?

I sent them an email 2 days ago asking what is going on. The Alverstone is the best boot for my bony ass heels I’ve worn. If they change or go away I’ll be pissed

Ya, I dont consider my feet "wide" and dont normally order wide boots. Always been just the standard width. These are definitely a little crowded. Other than that I really like them. Hoping just a little bit of stretch will make them great.

I wear 13.5 and gotta have the wides. The standards are narrow as hell

Every Hanwag I've tried has been on the narrow side.

I ordered a pair of the standard Alaska's. So far, they seem like a solid boot. Especially for under $130. The fit is pretty similar to Hoffman Explorer's.

Used some boot stretchers and it helped quite a bit. I think it pushed them more to what their "wide" would be. I'll keep them and give them a run.

I have been trying a pair of Hanwag Tatra II , they fit size 12 true to size but a tad narrow in the toes. but seems like after a couple of hikes they are slightly packing out to my foot. Nice lightweight boot although I wish there was a slight more cushioning under the front of my foot, but I guess that’s why they are so light. Thanks for posting just went and looked at hanwag website - some really good deals right now, hard to not buy a pair of the alverstones!
