I am not sure if they still do or not. The Gunwerks guys were using Parker bullets in their custom muzzys.

I set my son up withthe Hornady Sabot 300 grains SST. They shoot amazing out of his ML. Sighted in at 100 you are looking at 13 inches of drop at 200. At 300 well she is falling off a cliff. The bullet does perform well. His longest bull was 185. Dropped where he stood, nice pass through. Closest was 50 yards no pass through but never took another step. He has shot a few bears at med range, they tend to not even move. Great bullet but expansion and pen will be dropping off past 200. Those are with 150 grains. If your pushing more powder, well good luck.
That is good to know, I wondered about these. We have harvested a few deer with the 300 grain SST Sabot out of a 12 gauge.

Ive had good success and results with my cva mrx last season.
Shooting 320g tc maxxi balls over 100g by volume of pyrodex.

Toke a big mature cow at 106 yards and got a double lung complete pass thru on her.

I’ll keep using that combo as long as it’s avaliable.

I followed this post in the spring and thought I would update with my results. I bought the eld-x bullets when they came out, but decided not to use them until I saw more results with them.
I decided to go with the 290 grain Barnes TMZ after a friend recommended them and I figured they would have excellent penetration. I started shooting them over the summer and came up with 95 grains by volume or 76 by weight of bh 209 and used federal 209a primers.
The groups were about 1” at 100 and 2.5” at 200 out of a T/C Encore Pro Hunter with factory fiber optics open sights. I figured this should be good.
I ended up taking a shot at 190ish yards hitting him quarrying to and the bullet exited the other side. I followed up quickly at about 230 yards. Just to make sure he went down quickly. This one went through both shoulder blades and was against the hide. I have confidence it this Barnes bullet and wanted to share the results.
