What WONT you buy in the classifieds?

Just about anything not at least 30% off retail. I figure I can find new deals throughout the year that will almost always get me close to that and even if I can find 15-20% sale off new the extra discount isn’t worth buying used.
I know this year might be an exception due to some items just not being available, but I can be pretty patient with my frugality.

For me I don’t think I could buy a used sleeping bag. Between sweaty, naked men, and not showering for days on end, it makes my stomach turn to think about getting in someone else’s bag!!!

And mouth calls, that’s just gross!!!

I disagree on the rifle, I’ve bought and sold a lot of sub MOA rifles. I currently have a 223 rem VSSF that will do 30 rounds in an inch, but it shoots 52/55 grain and I want 60-70 grain. I’ve bought 90% of my rifles used, only had 1 problem, small burr in the barrel. Machinist buddy helped my hone it down and polish it, $300 SS ruger skeleton stock sub MOA. I just get bored with a certain rifle, time for a different one!

Never have never will buy used anything. I don't want other peoples dead skin or what ever on me and I don't buy other peoples problems. Never even bought used vehicle from anyone other than family and I did that with some reservations. Hats, hair and lice, socks toe jam and nails, underwear, let's not got there. vehicle, check out back seat with UV light.

Sleeping bags and anything where the lowest asking price is over 60% of new. I wanted a backup release to take with me on archery hunts and most of the ones for sale on here were over the Amazon price. I have found that pointing out such things is a sure fire way to get panties in a bunch fast. I just bought a new one to skip the hassle of price negotiations, items with issues or getting scammed.
