What to sight .270 Win in at?

i'm with AZmark. always had my .270win around 3" high at 100 gives me 250m zero. using 130gr hornady interlock.
when stuff has to die this is what comes out of the gun cabinet.

I go with 2.5 inches high at 100. Been successful the last five years on lope and mule deer.

Sighting in at 25 is Only meant for a new mounted scope and just to get you on the paper at 100.

I’ve used the 270 now for 40yrs and I like to sight at 3” high at 100. Good out past 300yds. Very seldom I shoot that far but for the first time in my life I shot sn elk at 324”. Held dead on and got both lungs and it fell in its tracks

For me that’s the same as 300yd zero.

Thanks for the input everyone. I think I am going to go with a 2.5-3” high at 100yards. Then I plan to test it out at the range with various distances (50, 150, 200, etc.)

That’s a 250 or 300Yd zero.

My .270 WSM (different caliber, I know) is sighted- in at 200 yards.

It’s a 270, don’t over think it, 2” high at 100 yards will be all you need.
