I noticed that the Proof Research Tundra rifle in 6.5 PRC, and GA Precision's 6.5 PRC rifles have a 1/7.5 twist. What is this giving me that I'm not getting in a 1/8 twist 6.5 PRC?

How do you like the otter creek? Down to that or the scythe for my first can.
I love it, it is pleasant to shoot, quiet enough to not need any other hearing protection. Currently considering a Diligent Defense Enticer S TI for another shorter can.

You ever get this gun put together? What barrel did you go with and what kind of velocities are you seeing?
I went with a Christensen Ridgeline in an MDT HNT26. I am getting about 2818 with 143 grain hunting bullets and 1.6 grains below book max of H1000 in Peterson Cartridge Brass.

Theoretically, about 0.006 better g7 BC @ sea level with a 156 berger @ 2800 FPS.

I sold my Cooper Open Country long range, and wanted to get someting a little lighter. Couldn't find anything in my LOP. Ended up with another Cooper Open Country, this one with the small mag...it likes the same loads as the rifle it replaced. So I'm back with the 1/8 twist.tempImagefcUtgB.jpg
