what to do?

Move the rest at most 1/16th at a time. Wont take much movement and I agree with what was said above about paper being a baseline.

Bumped it over a little last night. And by little I mean maybe a 32'd it certainly got it tighter. Broad heads to the left edge of my playing card and ft still center at 30. It was getting late so I'll get back at it tonight where I'll be able to shoot longer. Some good advice here. After shooting the same bow with zero adjustments for the last 7 years I still second guess some of the things I'm doing.

well best i can get is broad heads about 2" left @ 40 little tighter @ 30 like i posted. but when i move the rest any further right it starts pushing my field points right, not really fixing the issue. again broad heads are hitting dead even vertical at all ranges. going to play with it some more but im also going to try another broad head to see if the bow likes them a little better. think ill pick up some wac'em's on payday and see how they fly.

Had a similar POI shift issue with my other bow. Micro-moving the rest to "follow the fieldpoint" did not help, at all.
Wound up gettin' the BHs to hit with FPs, via yoke tuning with top idler wheel (Mathews)

Don't know how that relates to your bow if its not a Solocam, but maybe something worth checking into? Is there any cam lean @ full draw that you can 'tune' out, with a few twists of a string yoke?

cams are good. when i first got this bow it actually had a bad set of limbs. elite and my dealer took care of it and got the cams shimmed and timed when they put it all back together. the bow on a whole is sinced pretty well. could it be my grip? im sure it could but its pretty consistent what my broad heads and field points are doing. and im shooting great groups with the bow. could likely shoot just as tight of groups with my broad heads if i wanted to destroy a few arrows, they'd just be 2"left. i dont know, could be just the shuttle t's hit left with my set up??

If you yoke tune it then your gonna have some lean in the cam. Ive never messed with an Elite but every bowtech ive owned had some lean in the cam after i messed with the yoke legs. I would start there and then recheck timing once your done. Or like you said, try a different head.

Littlebuf I don't know if this is your problem, but when I switched from hoyt to prime, my natural grip pushed my bareshafts and broadheads left. I tried everything and I suggest you also try different broadheads, but if that does not work your grip may be the issue. Really not what you wanted to here this close to the season I'm sure. From the sounds of it, it would take a touch more thumb side pressure.

If broadhead tuning didn't fix the problem then try lengthening the release at most 1/8". Point of impact may change just slightly but all you are looking for is to see if the broadheads and field points move closer together. What happens if a draw length is too short is your release arm is not straight in line with the bow and string so the string is actually being pulled away from your face a little bit because your elbow is angling away from you instead of being right in line. This causes the string to be released with a nock right effect and then the fletching cannot overcome the broadhead starting angled to the left and just aligns itself with the fletching where with a field point the fletching can pull the tip of the arrow back in line with the fletching flight path. Keep in mind these are not large flight path differences they are very very slight. And i wouldn't say its your shuttle T's, they have been one of the best flying broadheads I have found fixed or expandable. It could be your grip, Elites sometimes don't like the same grip alot of other bows do. Ontarget7 has talked alot about using different grips depending on what brand of bow he is tuning.

What was wrong with the limbs?

Dover, you basically just described my form. My bow is set at 31" that's max. Before many bows were offered at that length I shot 30" with a bigger d loop and just learned how to shoot that way. Even at 31 my left a is still bent and honestly that's what feels natural for me. But I do know this bow is less forgiving than my last, or I was just so used to that one I naturally compensated. Think I'll have the wife take some slow mo of me shooting tonight with my new app. If I can figure it out ill post it up so you can all tell me how awful I am ;)

update. if any one cares. who know may help someone with the same issue. i ended up getting it. played with the rest and where i ended up was about 1/8" right from where it was. bumped the sight about 1/16" right as well. but where i really started to see improvement was i extended my release 1/4". just got back in from shooting and @80yards my broad head and field point were touching dead center on my last group with one field point high that i punched a bit. nice groups all the way from there to 20. the one thing i do notice though is my broad heads do consistently trend left still. in a three shot group you will always have a left/center/right arrow to some degree. in mine the left arrow is always the broad head. and i mean every time. leads me to believe i may be a little under spined. after this season i think i will try dropping down to 100gr head and see what kind of results i get. doing so will get me up over 300fps with a 500gr arrow so actually it could be a nice time to change weight. but im not going to now so close to the season. its shooting and shooting good. thanks for all the advice guys

80 yards. broad head is the one buried in the middle. high field point i punched a little. i think this will do

Why do you think extending your release fixed it?

i don't. a combination of every thing i did fixed it. i was compounding the issue of broad head tuning with a slight form problem, tough to spot when you do all your shooting on your own but the results were leading to that conclusion. Ive said before i grossly underestimated what it would take to switch bows after shooting the same one for so long. and the bows being so completely different in design and mechanics. my left arm was a little too bent and the draw being different on this bow than my bowtech i was having a tendency to to pull my release right a bit. extending the release just that 1/4" opened up my form just enough for a more natural release. much like how i shot my previous bow. its was just one factor of the equation and ive learned a lot with this bow switch. also couldn't be happier with the results and my new elite.
