Admittedly I hadn’t thought about muzzy since I don’t own one, but that’s never stopped me before.

You might want to research travel time to Co from Or
If you only have 7 days including travel you won’t get to hunt much.
Short timeline I would absolutely go 1st rifle or muzzy. I have a couple of ideas for ya but dm onlyYeah it’s a long drive. I’ve driven to eastern MT & WY for hunts so I am used to factoring that in to the schedule.
I’ve put hunting on the back burner this fall with my daughter being born in August. So my wife knows I’m planning something for next fall. Just can’t take multiple weeks.

I doubt this will ever happen. You think point creep is bad in CO? Point averaging would make it worst.I wish Colorado allowed pt averaging with a buddy instead of taking the low pt holder for the party app

As mentioned before, it has been rumored that big changes in the point system are coming. I build points (I have 14 ) by applying for 2nd and 3rd choice and drawing that choice does not cost any points, as only first choice takes your points. This year I drew a 3rd choice cow tag in a unit I have hunted 7 times in the past. You can also save your points by buying an otc 2nd or 3rd season tag. I am going on a guided hunt next year that will take all of my points. I will be 84 next week and more than likely not be able to accumulate that many points in the future at my age LOL!!
