What Temp bag?

I am going on an elk hunting trip on the Montana/Idaho border from Sept 19-25. Staying in wall tents. What temp bag should I take with? I have a 15 degree but not sure that will be warm enough?

I think you'd be fine with a 15.

I would say a 15 would be plenty. I'd recommend bringing some sort of sleeping bag liner as well. They can add a little warmth to the bag and help protect it from grime.

That depends on how accurate the 15° 'rating' is and if it is a comfort or survival rating.

A pad with an appropriate R-value
And then if shit hits the fan, like a bad wintry storm, you can sleep in your puffy/clothes and/or keep the fire in the tent stoked.
