Being in the tree trimming and landscape industry I have access to some pretty nice tools. For hunting use and where weight is a real consideration I just about always have a Silky in my gear bag. My two favorites are the Gomboy and Gomtaro Pro Sentei. The Gomboy folds and the P.S. does not. The grip on the P.S. is outstanding...better than any hand saw I own. The Gomboy is a total winner for me as well. It cuts dry wood like a champ. I used my Gomboy to saw the brow palms off two shed moose antlers...in both cases sawing through super-thick and hard moose antler. The blade was not harmed and is still in use.
I've used my Sven saw and even though it fit perfectly with my Sawtooth poles, it was a bit of a hassle on setup and size.
Been using a Silky Pocketboy for the last couple tries and it's works way better for me in size, weight, and functionality.
Ordered Bob Dustrude Quick Buck 24" and 21" saws for fit. 21" is perfect for packing. Sending the 24" back because it sticks out of my pack a little too much. Highly recommended! Stout, weighs almost nothing, and AMERICAN-MADE!!! Best price I could find: http://www.getpreparedstuff.com/mobile/Product.aspx?ProductCode=Bob-Dustrude-Quick-Buck-Saw-21
