What rain cover for Kifaru packs

I've flopped down my cuben Zpack cover in some nasty shale and haven't noticed or seen any holes in the thing. If there are any holes, it's super easy to throw a piece of duct tape on a hole to keep it sealed up.

I wonder why kifaru doesn't make one out of their ul material.

Because no one will spend $60+ on a pack rain cover when you can get a 2oz cover for $30. I just let my pack get rained on but I'm also not in the PNW or AK.

As much as techknowledgy has advanced during the last decade or two, this topic should not come up. All decent packs should not need a separate rain cover. Come on.

I use a eberlstoc rain cover and use it well, ultralite solo camp means no room in shelter for the pack, well turned upside down with cover on my pack was rained and hailed on for 31 hours and I had zero wet items. I never leave without it.

I needed a couple of blaze covers and went with this...

Has held up well over the last couple of years.
