What OTC Elk tags are still available?

We just moved to Utah and between being considered non-resident for the year and the move needing my time, I didn't put in for any elk hunts this year. I'd really like to fill the freezer back up.

Are there any OTC rifle tags in Utah or Wyoming that are still available? Cow tags are welcome! I know Colorado has OTC but I've heard those hunts are nightmares with how many hunters go.

yes, OTC any bull elk, 2nd season rifle in Utah. Good luck. I live here too, plan on many many people no matter how far you hike. Also, archery tags are unlimited.

I appreciate it, DWR said early rifle tags are also still available. I may do a little hiking in the wasatch range to check it out. I’m sure that area is super busy.

Still plenty of tags in ID if you wanna hunt the lolo, middlefork or selway zones lol

And there is a reason they have tags available in those zones. 11k ppl online today, after 1k returned tags.
