Just wanting to learn about some of the other less famous sites online I could possibly order Primers from. MidwayUSA has been bleak for a long dang time now.

Pretty much have to look everywhere. There are some sketchy looking sites advertising components that can’t be found elsewhere and I stay away because it seems like a scam. Besides that, open your wallet and head on over to gun broker. If there are any mom and pop gun stores in your area check those. I scored last year at one just walking in and they had some.

Midway and Brownells have had small and large rifle in stock each of the last three days, and at least a day each week this year. What are you looking for?

Looking for the Large Pistol Primers, for use with 10mm Auto. Might also cough up for some of the other though as well.

They come up often enough now on the main sites. Midway, powdervalley, midsouth. I can’t begin to tell you how to get setup but, Discord has a reloaders notification channel for in stock items. My 12 year old got me setup. Lol. I watch that for powder, primers, bullets, brass. Primers you can actually get in the cart and buy. The popular powders not so easily. It’s all priced way high. 30%-100% more than pre-Covid days. Notifications from the websites can help too. Just have to watch it like a hawk or it’ll sell out before you get there. But it can be done.

Not online, but Cabelas and sportsman’s have had a little of both periodically. I usually take a small detour every few days on my way home from work…

check ammoseek, but make sure to buy from reputable companies, not some weird "super duper shooter supply" that just formed a website last week. Natchez, Midway, Midsouth, Brownells, etc are showing them in stock here and there.

Another thing I watch out for to. Like goto the "Contact us" info and if there isn't a phone number, or isn't a US phone number. And just in general you get the idea that there is no way to contact them back... nope.. I skip it.

I just check Academy and see when they come back in stock at my local store, then order and pick up in person. They usually show up "in stock" in the evening, so I buy and pick 'em up over lunch the next day.

I see links to primers every week here: discord.gg/reloading

I usually check the site 3 times a day if I am looking to buy primers or other components. The primers are usually for sale at Midway, Brownells and Natchez. I've purchase primers from all of them in the last few months but found them on discord. You do have to act fast as they usually sell out in less than an hour after the notification is posted. It would help if you set up a login/password and payment info at the 3 companies I listed.

Ok... well.. with my son also talking about chats on Discord... kinda looks like Daddy's got to be setting himself up on Discord!
