To hunt mule deer & what else? I would only ever run 1 arrow setup, otherwise you are changing too many components and would have to re-sight in for your other arrows. I run one arrow setup from whitetail to muleys to elk.

420-450g is a good range….but higher or lower is fine depending on the BH’s efficiency.

Key is that BHs arrows are flying perfect at longer ranges

I shoot 1 arrow for everything. 450gr ProComp with Evolution glue in heads. If I were only hunting deer I would switch to something lighter like a VAP and build it to around 400gr.

Last muley I killed was with a 380 grain arrow at around 275 fps. At 35 yards it blew through that buck like he was made out of paper.

Same arrow that I use for elk and practice. Every other year I get the same dozen arrow shafts for my birthday. So it keeps me shooting despite occasional damage.
