There are flexible shoe glues like “Shoe Goop” and others (as reference, see Amazon). Leather goods require a glue that works with porous materials, that may also have to flex. Even if you are just fastening beads to leather, the right glue is important. Some have the ability to “set up” very quickly, like Gel super glues, so you don’t have to clamp them. Others take time to cure, so you have to use a weight, or rubber bands, etc., to clamp them in position. you don’t want things to shift when you are using a very strong adhesive with an overnight curing time. If you ask us for specific applications, we can give you suggestions!

I have used 3M Marine Adhesive to repair and extend a rand and that stuff is super durable. The only drawback is a lengthy cure time. I believe it was about 5 days if memory serves...
