What gram weenie sleeping bag should I buy?

I switched to a quilt last season; EE enigma 20* w/ nemo longbow pad. Also sleep in puffy layers if its going to be a cold night but didn't need that until temps were below the 15* range

It's been touched on, but the system as a whole really impacts overall comfort. I like a really light setup also, but usually prioritize warmth, comfort, then weight. The nice thing is we have so many killer options for bags or quilts.
I am a big fan of the EE quilt, and I went with a 10° version, wide, that has kept me warm on nights down into the low 20s or so. I also pair it with a pad with an R value of 5, and it's a good setup. If I need more warmth, I am already packing a puffy and a warm hat for glassing, etc. so like most things in my pack, they do double duty.
It may not be the full gram counting winner, but at 29 oz for the quilt, it works well.

The Ultra 6.5R. I just went through an intense pad comparison to find the most comfortable pad. I cannot stand the Neoair line. Below are all of the pads that I bought and tested.

Every pad above is regular wide except for the Xtherm and the Helix. Those are regular mummies.

Inflate time is using a fully charged Zero Pump.
I snagged flex tail’s new pad for ~$100 when I was comparing to the exped 6.5. Seems to have decent specs but no field time yet. Plan to use it in the next few weeks. Deciding if I need the exped while it’s on sale with REI.
