What external battery packs are you using?

Smartphones helps a lot but most of them are with horrible battery life. So does mine. I'm thinking about pick up an external battery pack. I found tons of cheap battery packs on Amazon, either branded or unbranded. It's hard to decide which to buy. Anyone can suggest? What external battery packs are you using?

I realize it's not cheap, but it's the ruggedized version of the standard powerstation.

New Trent, cant remember what model but i think it advertised 5 iphone charges.....seems to be accurate and holds charge well. I used it to charge my iphone and delorme inreach se at the same time while on an 8 day hunt, worked great and had battery life to spare

i think the one i bought was $60 or $70 and at my doorstep in 2 days with amazon prime

We do! The nomad solar panel charges the guide10 power pack, which can be used to charge just about anything. Mostly we use it to charge an iPhone, but it will pretty much do any electronics you have a USB power cord for. We also picked up a goal zero speaker...not a backpacking item, but it sure was nice to have some tunes along on trips where we could spare the weight this season.

That is great Becca. I figured someone else besides me was using some of their equipment. We love having the ability to charge the iphone and then listen to music on our multi-day river trips.

Use the Goal Zero Nomad 7 along with the Guide 10 battery pack. I also use the new Switch 8 battery,it's a little lighter than the Guide 10

What about the RAVPower 14000mAh? A friend of mine told me he has been using a 10400mAh battery pack from this vendor for more than a year and it still does its job.

Goal Zero guide 10 and nomad battery pack for me. It's not light but it works and for me the juice is worth the squeeze.

New Trent PowerPak Xtreme

Just got it but tested it by dropping it, running it under water and putting it in the freezer for 30 minutes. This thing is a beast. No issues at all and I got 3 full charges out of it for my phone after all that testing
