Passed lol. I actually went well over 1000 welds before I popped one. Quit keeping track after that too. Thought I was the shit .

I’ve popped 5 or 6 now. All tie-in welds with shit fit-ups. But I don’t care anymore. It happens lol.

In those classified projects, was any of it such wildly advanced flight technology that people would not believe it?

I've always been really interested in The aerospace industry and often wonder what the most advanced flight tech there is that's being worked on

Even tho I've been retired for a number of years, I still hold a high level clearance. I still do some work for my previous employer occasionally. Lots of work on advanced technology is still classified!

Honestly not too many - just a few here and there. Oddly, the last pilot I worked on had two basal cells (one pretty large) on his legs.

Curious.... How many of you guys use your love of expensive hunting trips and expensive hunting gear to fuel your motivation for work and achieving a high paying job to support it?

If I could receive a decent wage, retirement, PTO and health benefits for digging holes in the ground all day.... And I mean that literally... I would rather do that than nearly anything I can think of that I'm qualified for.

Unfortunately, I like expensive hobbies and I need great health insurance. So I keep the career I have.

Really the only reason I work where I’m at is because of my hobbies. I’m paid well but if I was just a bum and didn’t want to do anything except sit at home and drink beer on the weekends I’d quit my job tomorrow.
