I have the Vortex 1800, but it will be going down the road. I couldn't get a range on a buck that ended up being 375 yards.
I used OnX to measure from my location to the estimated location of the buck using the terrain features as a guide. OnX told me 350 yards. Dialed the scope and dropped in with a shot through the neck.
I'd prefer not to have to do that again. Mainly because I don't know if the outcome would be same!
