What do you use for protein and supplements?

I remember a good trainer PT I knew a long time ago, basically said if runs swims or flies fast eat it, if it grows out of the ground eat it.

Obviously over simplified but has merit.

I have taken protein in the past but there was something in that crap, started craving it so bad I felt like a junky wanting to leave the gym before I was done working out, just to go home and make a shake.

Seems most are overpriced and not worth the possible benefit, particularly if you have decent eating habits.
 
Protein: Optimum nutrition whey. Pre: Jaked factory nitro surge. Creatine: Bulk supplements on amazon. That's really all you need to succeed, my friend.
 
No sugar, no artificial shit, grass fed whey isolate, no soy... Jocko pretty much nailed it. Many others out there that almost have a good product but... Soy. Watch out for that soy boys.
