Curious what everything thinks the gross and net scores will be? 60 day drying period has been up for a few weeks now and I’m thinking I will have a scorer meet me out at my taxidermist to get it scored. I believe anything 140” and up on a typical buck gets me in the Hoosier state record book, that’s what I’m hoping for! I should have gotten a measurement before drying just to see but I didn’t.IMG_1155.jpegIMG_7599.jpegIMG_1154.jpegIMG_7605.jpegIMG_7601.jpegIMG_7600.jpeg

Bomber deer man!!!
However it shakes out - if you’re knocking down a deer that pushes the threshold for making book, that’s a pretty unique and rare experience itself. Looks like a 140 on the nuts class deer if it’s got some width and long beams

Would have taken you less time to get a piece of string and a tape measure to come up with a rough / ballpark score than it did to upload all the pictures..........

lol well in the post I stated I should have measured before I took it to the taxidermist…where the deer still is….where the scorer is meeting me next week. Point was to just get a everyone’s predictions before getting it scored officially but you can take the time to write out a snark comment instead of a quick prediction

Without knowing a width I'm guessing high 130's low 140's, pope and young typical is based off total symmetrics and a lot of times it can be deceiving. basically measure the smallest side and multiply it by 2 for a rough estimate. I've killed over a dozen 140's that I thought would make it over 150 but after paying a certified P&Y measurer (scorer) for several of them the deductions literally kill the scores on the larger side of the rack.

don’t be so trigger happy, he woulda been a monster next year.

Jussst kidding, Ida pulled the trigger too, nice work. I’m very interested to see the numbers
