I am building what I believe to be the best do-it-all setup for anything in North America and could use some suppressor advice. I am getting a newly made Thompson Center encore pro Hunter with a combo 35 Whelen barrel and 6.5 creedmoor (to utilize the new plus peak ammo) the TC platform will keep everything compact and still allow decent barrel length due to no action to contend with. Now for my question.

I currently have a 4-5 year old Hybrid 46 can with an additional 30 cal end cap, and a bravo 3 post anchor break for each caliber. How much am I gaining going down to a 36-38 cal can then using whatever company I choose’s 30 cal end cap, as far as sound reduction goes?

For example. If I were to get a Rugged Alaskan Ti then get their own 30 cal end cap (to run the 6.5 out of as they don’t make a 26cal end cap) would I notice much of a difference, sound wise from what I currently have on (apples to apples, not using the bravo anchor breaks)?

I know you only increase about 2-3 db shooting a 6.5 in a 30 cal can (from a dedicated 6.5 can) but since in this case I am starting with a 46 cal can then going to 35 cal, then further more down to 6.5 cal, am I leaving a lot of sound suppression on the table?
