What did everyone get for Christmas this year?

Anybody get anything fun like a new hunting dog, a bucket list trip, or some gear you wanted?

Anybody get something they didn’t want, like an un expected visit from the in-laws, a DUI on the way home from the company holiday party, or a sonogram showing an unwanted pregnancy?

We buy what we want and with all the early sales everyone had this season Christmas came awful early.
Other half probably made out better but he got what he wanted/needed.

I did win a smoked turkey the other half bought and put my name on the ticket. So not a bad deal. No, we didn't wait to get it for today. I'm doing a elk roast and everything else from the garden.

Part of my present was booking my first elk trip in CO for 2nd rifle in 2025.

The rest was filled with random gear. Zenbivy setup, SG Grumann, Waders, and some of the sitka 330 base layers.

All topped off with a new action and stock to start a new build.

That's what I bought myself when the wife said let's just focus on the kids because we're adults and we get whatever we want/need anyhow. I didnt fall for it though, best believe she had something under the tree.

Coolest present is an "accubow" i got for my son. We've been playing it on the TV all morning. Little does he know that I'm conditioning him to archery hunt next year!

Merry Christmas everyone!

We've all always have tried to teach out kids the true meaning of Christmas and keeping things simple and not make a big deal about getting expensive gifts. We were actually blessed with a white Christmas from an overnight storm this year with about an inch of snow on the lawn and trees. Merry Christmas everyone.

NIB new old stock Marlin 1894CB in .357 with 24 inch octagonal barrel for lever-action silhouette. Wife and I are retired with no kids so we spend on each other instead :D

Nothing! But the wife and I quit buying gifts for birthdays and Christmas years ago and save it for trips!

Merry Christmas to all.
