Couple 6cm, one 18" one 20", 10 shot zero checks. Top group was dialed 0.5mil or 1.8" up. The group that was dialed up, the rifled fallen over in the garage last night.......onto concrete hitting the elevation/windage turret. Surprisingly it was only 0.1 mil high and right.

Shooting tiny groups with hunting weight guns, 10 shot groups with unwrapped cans in 35°, lot of mirage, groups would like be better with a higher mag optic and more precise aim point.

What’s your load and velocity out of the 18”

I generally like to use the corner of the paper. Always seemed easier to hold on than a center dot.
Not when you have a dot at the center of the reticle. Dot on dot is about as easy as it gets for me. My eyes aren't great, and it was pretty low light at the range this morning with 15x scope.

15 69 SMK ADI’s from an RA GEN2 Ranch in 5.66.
I’m not sure where in the 15 round string the 3 under ruler are, but I’d like to have them back. 😁

My 7 year old son shot two groups with his 17 Mach 2 this morning. He switched over to a variable power Leupold to try out and practice with that style of scope. It had lost zero on the jeep drive out.

First 10 shot group with the zero shift at 50 yards.

We made the correction and he shot another 10 round group and chronod it.

His rifle is a Ruger 10/22 that we put together. 16” Volquartsen barrel and their trigger as well set at 2.25 lbs. Custom cut lightweight wood blank stock that we modified to fit him. Thumb hold grip for carrying and has a slot grooved in for proper neutral thumb grip. It’s a shooter!

First group is 10. Second is 15. Not sure where in the string the 2 outliers are in the 15.
I thought it was okay for the price.

700 action I've had since I was a kid
Timney trigger
20" 308 barrel, cant even remember make or specs
Swfa 6x
Poor man's Eh1 (bell and carlson)

Most importantly, my grandfather gave me a metric f ton of 308 handloads a few years before he passed. He used to shoot matches at camp Perry. Lake city knurled brass, 168 smk. I'll shoot a group with it every year or so and can't help but smirk.

First 9 rounds from new solus over run 6creedmoor barrel. Origin action, Krg bravo, zco 5-27.
Threw together some generic loads to brake in barrel. 39gr 4350, 108 eldm.
Not bad for a $200 barrel.

Here are my most recent groups. Ruger American Ranch Rifle, in a KRG Bravo, 16.1” barrel with a Silencerco Omega, shot off a bench using a Spartan Javelin bipod. Scope was a Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x32 MOA and shooting Lake City 77gr OTM.

I did two groups at 100yds, about 5-6 minutes between the groups.
