What constitutes a vacation for you and your family?

I brain washed my kids since they could walk about how bad Disney is and how boring it is to stand in lines. They’re in middle school/high school now and I don’t think I could force them to go. We’ve been on a lake in the Adirondacks, Yellow Stone, and stayed close to home fishing/crabbing. Time together as a family is the vacation. Doesn’t matter where we’re at.

For me a vacation is whenever I take time off to do whatever I want. Hunting, trips to the coast, camping for more than a three day weekend. My wife and I have gone to the oregon coast every year since we’ve been married and stayed in a nice hotel and sat on the beach all day with our kids. That’s the vacation I most look forward to, and it’s coming up in about a week!
