Used a 143 ELD-X out of a 6.5 BitchBiscuit, 150 ish yards on a Mule Deer buck. Ran about 20 yds and flopped.

Killed my ram with 115dtac nose ring out of my 6 saum. 303 yards, dead on first hit, but gave him another one for good measure.

Killed a spike bull with 215 berger out of my 300wsm. 200 something yards, dead on first shot, just like usual.

Killed a white tail doe with a 90gr game king out of my 243 win. 100 yards or so. That bullet is devastating and would have done just fine on my spike and ram. It left a baseball sized exit and annihilated everything that got in it's way.

Once again for the third year running it came down to the Barnes 250gr Spitfire 50cal muzzleloader. Bang flops.

This last fall used 145 Hornady ELDx (270) Bull elk at 200 yards doubled lunged lodged in back shoulder took about 5 steps and tipped over.

Whitetail buck at 100 yards high shoulder shot dropped on its tracks.

140gr Amax from 260 rem. Shot 2 antelope in MT. 400ish yards for both. Doe circled and dropped. Buck ran 30 yards and dropped. Both shot in the heart.

75+ pigs (shooting them in trap), 1x black bear at 15 yards, whitetail deer x 2 at 351 and 35 yards.
All with 5.56 ELD-M's.
All except bear were one shot kills - the bear was getting aggressive with my service dog in our backyard and earned himself a double tap.
An unknown number of coyotes, small game with head shots, and feral dogs were also taken this year, but I did not bother to note the numbers or distances.

The horror all those animals must have felt when they realized they were killed by an "obsolete" cartridge.

Aoudad-160gr Barnes LRX, 430 yards, 7PRC; first and last time with a Barnes, eh so-so

Pronghorn - 140gr Berger EH, 350 yards, 6.5PRC; one and done, maybe went 25ft

Bull Elk - 170gr Berger EH, 325 yards, 7PRC; one and done, 20 paces and piled up

Mule Deer - 133gr Berger EH, 330 yards, 25-06AI; 2 but it was my fault, steeply quartering away put the first to far back

No drama. Solid damage, dead deer.

So boringly reliable.

That is why I keep on shooting it.

Everytime I get serious about a new 223 or 6.5, I kill more stuff with the 308 and just can’t make myself spend the money.
