What bow is everyone shooting?

I've always had a mathews bow, and am looking to upgrade this year. I'm not particular on only mathews, so I'm willing to try any others. What are some of the better shooting bows out there?! Thank you!!

Just picked up a darton consequence 2, first non "flagship" bow I've had in 20+ years and wow this thing impressive at any price much less the 750 they cost new or the 450ish they are going for used. Unbelievable value

I only owned Hoyts so far. I currently have an RX7 and Alpha X33. I'm actually thinking about getting an RX7 Ultra since it's the smoothest bow I've felt. It's not as fast as the newer bows but I also shoot 80# and like my arrows flying between 290-295fps. The newer Hoyts have a more linear draw which is nice but it's stiff at the beginning of the draw cycle.

Going to checkout a few new bows tonight, gonna be selling my faithful PSE full throttle due to shoulder injuries. It’s been a hammer for about a decade!

I have the hoyt ventum 33, love the bow and how stable it is. Only downside is its heavy. In the 25 years I have been hunting I have only had 2 bows, 3 if you count my recurve. Previous was a Bear from the early 2000s so I decided to upgrade 2 years ago and it is so much better.

Just picked up a like new RX7 Ultra refuse to buy new and pay retail. Very nice bow to shoot, still getting used to it and getting my pins dialed in. Tight Spot quiver on the way this week. Killed deer last year with a Switchback so this is a slight change for me.

I see very few people talk about Fred Bear equipment positively. I’ve got an older arena 34 compound which has been solid for the last 6 seasons and I still hunt with it. I have a few of his trad bows that are of good quality and capable of taking game. I moved to a VPA riser and DAS longbow limbs from 3 Rivers and that’s my go to now.

Now would I like to shave a lb off of the Arena 34? For sure but I’m not comfortable with the price of upgrading to some of the great bows listed in this thread. I’m excited for those that decide it is worth it. I’ve got nothing against anyone’s choice of equipment.
