What bipod rail do you recommend for a CA Ridgeline for an Atlas CAL bipod? I like the Seekins rail that has a swing swivel stud. I watched a video of Broz installing one but it doesn't look like a Seekins. If i were to get the Seekins what hardware would you recommend?

I got the EOL one for my Ridgeline that I just installed. Their kit comes with a wood screw but that configuration won’t work. So I installed it similar to Broz’s video, before I found his video.

Atlas and just order a push button flush cup for your sling up front to replace the swivel.

The finish on the seekins wore off and rusted on me, I was not impressed. Also, Put the same rail on all your guns so you don’t have to adjust the bipod when you move it to different guns. Even though they are all pic rails the sizing seems different between the 3-4 different ones I have had...now I own all atlas on all guns.

which specific atlas rail do you use??? I’m in the same boat, I’d like to buy one atlas bipod and get 3-4 rails for different rifles so I can just switch the bipod around as needed but atlas sells like 25 different rails.

also do you install those rails yourself? Is it easy?

I'm going to try this one from Spartan. Goal is to be able to use both my Evolution Bipod, and my lighter weight Javelin, and can run a sling as needed.

Expensive though.

Got this one for all my rifles that I use my Atlas on. Badger is high quality and Brownells is great to deal with. Switch your sling to flush cups and you won’t be disappointed.

If you already have two sling studs upfront it will depend on your stud spacing. The 3.35" is what I put on my guns, except for a manners stock that I have which required a 4" to fit the pre drilled holes. You can see that these style Atlas ones also have the big space to allow for mounting on a wider range of spacing distances, so you aren't dependent on the exact fit from one that has 2 pre drilled holes - make sense?

If you have to drill out a 2nd hole upfront in your stock because you only have 1 sling stud then you will want this kit:

There are some youtube videos online on how to do it, its not hard, I did it on a Christensen Stock and took me about 15-20 mins and I was super careful. Just gather your tools that you need up and take your time drilling.

This will go on a CA Ridgeline. Only one stud so i will have to drill for the other. I wish it had two so I didn't have to stress about drilling a hole.

I did my ridgeline and have since put the barreled action into a manners EH1. If you have a short action I have a stock that’s already drilled and has the atlas rail on it if your interested, or happy to take it over to PM’s and can give you a few tips on drilling your own stock. It’s not hard, you’ll get it done without too much stress.

I don't have the gun yet. I'm still deciding on the caliber that I want but have the funds sitting aside. Bought my glass, rings, and bipod first so i didn't skimp. I used to but the gun first then skimp everything else. Not this time.

The only thing om worried about is drilling the counter sink for the t nuts. I watched a video and i could have sworn the guy almost blew through his stock with the bit. He didn't say anything but looked pretty close to me.

I have no complaints of my Seekin with sling mount

Same.

And OP - I didnt use t-nuts on mine, used small wood screws from the hardware store (although the bolts that come with it would probably work as well). Just drilled like a 1/8" hole, tossed a little loctite on the screw, and screwed them in.

I've done it on both a Mesa and a Bergara B-14. The stock was hollow on the Bergara so I ended up filling the slots behind the mount with epoxy so I had something to screw into. The Mesa was easier since the stock already has bedding in it.

Watching Broz use the spade bit made me nervous. I just used a Dremel.

Me too. I can see myself just going a little too much and boom you blew through your stock.

On the other side maybe that's how i could justify a new custom stock.

Brendan, did you ever buy the Spartan rail? Curious how it worked and if they are STD 1913 rails.
