I currently have a Caldwell on my Christensen Ridgeline but I'm considering changing. What bipod is everyone running for Backcountry/hiking hunting?

Taggin in. I use a trusty harris. Seams like the cool kids use spartan which seams retarded to me since you have to take it off and put it back on since it doesn't fold down. I think they are light weight though.

$30 Champion Bipod from Walmart. It looks just like a Harris. Ive had it for 5 years and have killed out to 650 yards and ring steel out to 910 yards. So I see no reason to change things.

If I had to get another one I would get the Harris as they are more adjustable. The Champion is only 2 positions.

I went the hatch tall route. My primary hope was to always have a seated or kneeling rest option when grass is to tall for prone or for some of them awkward angle shots you cant go prone for.

Currently Tricer for the value

Have used the tall Hatch and it is awesome too, just a touch heavier

Atlas CAL and Harris 9-13 are much better for prone but I cannot shoot prone most the time

I just got the tricer, have yet to use it. Seems nice, a lot of moving parts.
