What bincoculars do you use?

Not sure if it's been mentioned previously, but Maven does demos through their website for two week periods which is super cool. I'd try that if you are in the market, it just costs shipping and I've been really impressed by their stuff.

I bought some used zeiss SFLs 10x50s (SFL form factor is much smaller) last year for ~$1000 and really like them.

Where on earth did you get those for $1000??

NL Pure 12x42, it's really worth getting a look through a set of the NL Pures before you buy. The brightness and FOV make it feel like you are just standing closer.

If I were buying new now, I'd probably go for the 14x52s, but I also appreciate portability of the 12x42s on my chest.

As for comments on rangefinder - I'd take that on the NL pure with the "screen" being external or something as every RF bino I've looked through seems to give something up for the "screen" being in front of your eye.

Vortex Viper HD 8x42. Works for me.
