Seen a reminder that …”And Justice for All” was released 35 years ago a few weeks ago. I’ve been replaying that album pretty frequently. Harvester of Sorrow is a profoundly powerful song. The rest of the album is incredible as well. It’s a bummer that Lars was such a control freak and basically turned Jason Newsted’s bass off when they mixed the sound.

I was passing through salt lake last week and ran into Jewish rapper BLP Kosher. had never heard of him before. Got my picture taken with him on the off chance my kid knew who he was. She didn’t. On the drive home I looked him up on Spotify. Got halfway through a song before stopping it.
