Me and my wife both agree that unless it involves our son or a major emergency, hunting season trumps all. Easiest way to avoid doing something you really don't want to do is go hunting.
Our son is 4 but we live on a family farm so Grammas house is only 400 yards up the road. I don't push my son too much. If he wants to go we go and if he doesn't he doesn't. He's starting to want to go more often than not now. That’s great, I’m envious! My kids are still little but hopefully they will enjoy hunting and being in the outdoors as much as I do. Once they get older and everyone in the family is out hunting, she might change her tune and see what it is all about. Until then I don’t see much of a chance of getting her into the woods.
Have you seen that Mesa Horse Gear? I'm trying to talk myself into putting some of them on my motorcycle. My wife is a horse lady. She getting a new or of muck boots, a heated jacket and several saddle pads.
We are about to put a pool in and put a roof over our back patio and she wants some expensive patio furniture to go with it. She just told me a few days ago not that she did not want anything for Xmas and we shouldn’t get each other gifts this year since we are spending so much money on the house.
However, I’m a little apprehensive. Sounds like a trap! I’d rather play it safe, rather than be sorry, and get her something special.
I don’t want Xmas morning to come and there be gifts under the tree for me and none for her.

Buy her some of that porch furniture...Sure sounds like a trap. Thanks for the confirmation!
This a gift with no downside. If it turns out to be something she didn't really want, it will be in your bino harness by next fall.my wife really wants a good small binocular, so getting her Maven’s B3 8x30
she never told me this, but after 39 years of marriage, I know she wants this
