What are you carrying in g-bear country?

I recommend a light on your handgun. It's pretty dark in the woods when the sun is no longer up. Anymore we as hunters, have many critters that may wish to cause us harm; bears: black and grizzly, lions, wolves. and two legged critters.
During my time hunting, I've delt with all of those that I have listed.
Just trying to stay safe while enjoying the great outdoors.

Back on subject. I do carry all 3. Here is why, not sure how many people on here, have had to use their spay as a defense item? When using this spray, it like I just started using it and it's out. I've used it twice, I think, my spray lasted less than 8-10 seconds.
My rifle is for taking game that I'm after.
My handgun is on my chest when I leave camp, and it stays there all day. I carry a handgun for a few different reasons.
I carry a spare tire for my truck, and sometimes two, depending on where I'm hunting. So, yes, I always try to have two cans of spray, one at the ready and one in my pack. I look at it like, its cheap insurance.
It's just my way of staying out of trouble.
