Western NC Bear - Public

Recently drew a still hunting tag for one of the fairly new bear management areas in the Nantahala (Standing Indian) in Western NC. Has anyone had any experience hunting here? Tag is for late October so trying to come up with a plan since it’s a huge area (21,000 acres) and I only have a couple of days to get it done. I know Standing Indian used to be a “bear sanctuary” so there was some contention about the hunts in the past. Wondering if anyone has dealt with hunter harassment especially with the AT and a campground in the area. Thanks!
