Western mountaineering vs feathered friends puffy jackets

Looking at buying a down coat. Not too worried about camo since motion is the biggest factor. But trying to decide between the Featheted friends daybreak and Hyperion or western mnt Flash or flight. Does anyone have any experience with these?

Since you are facing silence….I have a FF Volant, not the ones you mentioned. I probably bought the jacket in 1989 or 1990. It is still doing well although has lost a bit of loft. The current models have better down and I think a better shell material. When I am ready to pop for another warm down jacket I will probably buy another FF Volant. Just a great piece of gear.

I have a W. Mountaineering bag... first rate company and great bag, I imagine their jackets would be as well.

I've got a down coat from Mountain Hardware....good stuff too.

FF daybreak hoody.... the hood is perfect to me. it turns with your head unlike most others i have seen or tried.
