@Jaden Bales hosted our own staff writer @Josh Boyd --who's also a professional hydrologist) for today's super important/interesting episode.

Is it as bad as we think? Are there any bright spots? (Not click bait, I haven't listened yet either :ROFLMAO: but I'm gonna!)

This is the 4th year we've done these episodes and I've found Josh is usually pretty dang accurate.

Give it a listen below or wherever you get your podcasts!

...well I learned soil moisture can be good when snowpack sucks! and fire season more related to spring/early summer moisture than snowpack.

I'm a little more hopeful and I see two storms lined up for the Rockie's this week. Go!

good episode guys and sorry about your truck Josh. I guess that's why we call those big trees widowmakers...

@Josh Boyd I really appreciate your expertise and learned a lot. Colorado is in trouble with drought and fire danger. We’re starting our big snow season with nothing in the forecast. Ski resorts opened late and closing early. High elevation snow pack is around 25%, mid elevation is at 0.
Lots of reservoirs are lower than normal right now with extremely little snow to melt and fill them. Pretty scary being the only state that doesn’t have water flowing into it and having to feed Denver and the south west.
