I'm headed to the west side of Idaho tomorrow. Generally aiming for the St Joe NF and points north. Yes, I know its cold. 😅

Anybody in the area have any input on travel and conditions? I'll be chasing birds, hiking wandering.

Any thoughts on current conditions or travel advice would be appreciated.

I'm farther north, Bonner county. Roads are clear, sunny, but a little windy at times. Cold is relative, currently in the mid or high 20s. My place is at 2400' or so, don't even have what is call ground cover of snow.

Wouldn't be surprised if there's more snow in areas on the st Joe.

Thank you! That's just the kind of info I'm looking for. My ultimate destination is the border north of Nordman. There's a few places up there I really love to wander around.
