I have found a west facing slope that I really like the looks of. There are two saddles on the top of the ridge line. In these saddles there are draws that go off to the west that would make a north slope so to speak. In these draws are pretty thick pines according to Google earth. I know there is water to the west and I am pretty sure there is water in the canyon to the east. There trail goes by this ridge about 3/4 of a mile to the west. The closest road is 3.76 miles away as the crow flies. I will be in hunting the last 2 weeks of Colorado's archery season.
So I am curious what you guys would do if you had this soot in your sights? I know its a west slope and they are the second warmest slope.
