Them trusses look very stout. I’d like them better with a center vertical web. Not that they need it, just my sense of design.
The place looks beautiful. Congrats!!

Looking forward to this as it comes along, i’m going to build a 10x12 shed on my CO property that will look like a tiny cabin 😉

Went up and worked on the cabin the past couple days.

I got up there at 9am Friday and started working. I would be by myself all day Friday.

I put foil insulation under the flooring. Provides a little insulation and also a moisture barrier

Awesome area! My in laws live just outside of Hullet and I’m visiting them right now. Just dumped a few inches of snow at their property.

Hulett has a very nice little covered rifle range we will be at tomorrow morning. Something special about sighting in rifles up here with the snow falling. Really feels like fall!

Went up and worked on finishing up the exterior of the cabin for a few days.
Installed the wood stove, also brought up some gear that stayed in the cabin - cots, lantern, hatchet, camp stove etc

It was neat to work on the cabin, cut wood and have a warm fire inside, read by lantern and make coffee and bacon on the wood stove every morning.

I probably won’t get back up until spring Turkey season, and then start finishing the inside.

Thanks for following along so far.
