WTS Well...I got scammed

PayPal itself allows you to dispute a charge, much like an actual bank does, puts them in the legal battle against the culprit.
The tech overlords at PayPal do not cover guns or gun parts. This has been discussed in this thread already.

Dang. I wish we could have played this guy at his own game.

He won't stop. He will make a new username and learn from mistakes until he hits again and again.

He probably learned how to do this last time in prison .We paid to teach him
Yes, it looks like his gig is up, temporarily. He'll be back, scum like this won't quit. The law will have a hard time doing much with these guys. This kind of crime is low on their priorities compared to other problems they deal with. However, it's known who he is and where he's at. It will catch up to him at some point.

These king make it hard on new guys to these sites no one trust us. I can understand why .I dont do pay pal so some guys dont like that OLD School

And good at checking prostates, without moving his hands from this guys shoulders...

Here's a couple thoughts:

1. In terms of escrow service...Isn't that what Gunbroker is?
2. Insisting on dealing with an FFL on the seller side helps alleviate some of the risk, especially if paying with non traceable or refundable means.
3. I'm involved in a huge multiparty transaction over on SH that went south big time, which is why I read through this. It's being sorted out now hopefully, but I was worried I had lost a huge sum of money on overpriced primers.
4. It's a seller's market right now and that will draw the thieves.
5. I think insisting on seeing a drivers license with a matching address to where money is being sent to is a minimum requirement for me now.

6. Many states have cyber crime units that are specialised in this. I would research that option.
7. Don't make any threats to him. Just let LE do their thing. It may not be quick but hopefully eventually he will get caught. You don't want the hassle of being victimized by fraud to be compounded with more BS.

Glad you are getting your money back.

This thread has a lot of good information in it.

I think I would take a little road trip and show him what a sharp knife will do to his nuts.
hahah! A sharp knife like my grandpa’s knife which he always said was so sharp it could “shave a sleeping mouse’s balls and never wake him up”.

First off, why didn't you get the postal inspector involved? You still should so that they can monitor him when you know he will do this again. Second, there should be a thread started with his personal name and scammer so that when people google him in the future, they will see said thread.
