While I’m thinking about it, asked a taxidermist to pull teeth for me a couple years ago and he got plenty aggressive doing it. Anyone know if there’s enough tooth left to mess with here? I know one is probably too far gone.Nice! I’ve got teeth from a few deer hanging out on a shelf, waiting to get a 4th one to send them all at once![]()

Negative, those are just the crowns. Need to root where the cementum is, preferably all the way to the tip of the root. If you still have the jaw the roots are in there and can get those out or pull alternates. While I’m thinking about it, asked a taxidermist to pull teeth for me a couple years ago and he got plenty aggressive doing it. That’s what I was afraid of. We have to pull teeth on pronghorn in Texas, and I’d done it in that shop before in front of that guy. I was disappointed when I got those and it looked like they’d been extracted with a hammer and chisel. Oh well, I’ll remember to do it myself next timeNegative, those are just the crowns. Yea for sure. It's really not hard at all with a fresh jaw. I would have guessed those were from a dried out or frozen jaw someone just yanked on with a pair of pliers but I suppose even with a fresh jaw that would happen if you didn't cut down the gum tissue first. That’s what I was afraid of. I’m guessing it was slightly frozen. Last frozen head we had to get teeth from they just cut the jaw off for me. Had it sitting on my flatbed under the cake feeder to dry out and a bird or pack rat stole it. Was disappointed about that.Yea for sure. It's really not hard at all with a fresh jaw.
