Is Cooper still working on the Rokslide Special Edition Backcountry Rifle? The stainless, synthetic, fluted, light weight one?

I talked to them a lot about this gun while I was trying to decide what to do a couple weeks ago and from what I was told they are still heavily in the R&D stage as they don't want to release something they aren't 100% sure of. Have to respect that from a company, and I'm sure they will get it right when it's all said and done, but it may still be awhile.

Eagle/Matt, I'll meet with them next week at SHOT and if I can release some info, I will. If they can achieve Cooper accuracy in a backcountry gun, they're gonna knock it outta the park.
