Wedge Soles are great!

I just had my everyday boots resoled. They've had the standard raised heal and I've been on my feet a lot more this past year. Since it was time to resole them, I had the cobbler put a wedge sole on instead. Wedge soles are offerred by all the big names in boots(red wing, thorogood, brunt, etc) and I've noticed a lot of my contractors guys wearing wedge soles and decided to give them a whirl. This change was totally worth it! Not sure how many people buy resole-able shoes but if you do; you might wanna consider trying these. Most wedge soles come in white, which didn't really bother me but the cobbler got them in black.

The sole is one even taper from heel to toe.

Supports the whole foot and provides more cushion support than a traditional hard sole boot

Wedge soles are funky looking old man soles.

And boy are they so much more comfortable and supportive. All I'll wear on my daily work boots.
