Weatherby Vanguard Obsidian - Hard Bolt Lift after Dry Firing?

Hey everyone. I have a new Vanguard Obsidian and the rifle is great. Shoots sub half MOA with Hornady AW 140gr .270 factory ammo and is such a bargain.

Only issue is that the bolt lift is a bit hard when I dry fire or shoot it. I understand the spring needs to have tension to recock the firing pin, but it’s a bit more stiff than most rifles I’ve had. Have to use a bit of pressure every time. So much so I can hold the gun up by the bolt after dry firing it and it still won’t lift up all the way.

Thoughts as to what it could be?

Friction on the ramp the cocking piece rides up is often the cause of it runs dry. A little gun grease helps a lot.
