Hello-

I have a Weatherby Vangaurd Backcountry in 300 win mag. I have put a timmney trigger in it and also sent it back to Weatherby to have an accubrake installed. I am hoping you guys can help give me a value of this rifle as I am looking to sell it.

Thanks-

Probably about a thousand bucks brand new so used 800 or so. As far as triggers and brakes, I’ve always figured I won’t get my $$$ back on those.

So if sportsmans is selling them for 1179, scale it back off the same amount as you listed?

Man that’s a tough one, I guess it depends on the buyer, if you find somebody looking for exactly what you have you may get more, for example, I wouldn’t mind having a rifle like
That and in that same caliber but I don’t like
Muzzle brakes so that wouldn’t be something I’d be willing to pay more for. For another guy he may love muzzle brakes. As far as the trigger, you can probably get more $$$ because of it but I’ve really never expected to get my money back on accessorizing guns, then again, I do t really
Sell guns because I’ve been hosed pretty badly every time I’ve done it.

$775 max and it would likely take some time to sell, $650 moves it quick.

They can be bought new for $791, the brake and Timney don't add enough value to offset the depreciation of it being used.

Where are they selling for 791?
