I have a like new Weatherby Mark V Carbonmark in .257 Wby for sale. It's the original model and not the current model. It has a Proof Research barrel. Approx 20-30 rounds down the tube. Never been in the field. Only range time. Has a thread protector but no Brake.I never got around to working up a load. I shot some factory rounds and some loads from my other .257 and it was 0.75-1.25" with most everything but the barrel wasn't even broken in yet. I was mostly shoot and clean for a few rounds and never really paid any attention to groups. I was mostly just getting the scope close and sending some lead down the barrel. My plan was to work up a load but just haven't done it. If it doesn't sell, I'll be happy to keep it and do just that. Very nice looking gun. Asking $1800 shipped to your FFL. Scope not included but rings are if you want them. Could also work out a deal for some ammo with the buyer if you are interested.

Weight as it sits is 9lbs 2ozs. Bare gun should be 7.5-7.75lbs. Not a super lightweight but not bad for a Mark V action

Nice rifle. The original large game lightning rod. Everyone today trying to reinvent what Roy developed 60+ years ago, like small caliber super high velocity is something they thought of. He dropped polar bears with the 257W. I have a few Bee's and they just flat out shoot.
