First generation Weatherby Backcountry 6.5 WBY RPM package. $2000 $1350

Includes-

-Zeiss V4 3-12x44 ZBR-1 reticle
-Leupold backcoutry ringmounts
-Leupold backcountry rail
-Lee dies
-72 pieces once fired brass
-34 Barnes 127 LRX rounds
-8 140 interlock rounds
-50 120 Hornady CX bullets

Carbon fiber stock has been professionally shortened to 12.5" LOP, original recoil pad replaced with pachmyer grind to fit recoil pad.

The rifle shoots the factory 127 Barnes very well. I have not yet worked up a load for it yet.

A few small handling marks, and cerakote has wear marks on bolt.

Id really love to do a face to face with someone in western MT or N. ID, but am open to shipping. Will gladly post more pictures, just ask.

Would also sell the gun and supplies without the scope for $1650, and the scope alone for $400.

$1400 for the package without the scope.
$400 for the scope.
$1700 for the whole package.

Back up to the top. Possibly interested in trades for rifles or scopes. I'd kind of like a bolt action .223.

Nice rifle- What is the barrel length & thread pitch?

Barrel is 24" to end of threads, ~26" with the brake on it.

I am not sure on the thread size. I'm finding conflicting info online, and Weatherby customer service isn't picking up the phone right now.

Should be 1/2-28, that's what I've seen for their skinny barrel spec. Plus, a friend gave me his brake off his 6-300 Weatherby and that was the thread.

Thanks @Andouille

I'll leave this ad up for a couple more days before it goes back in the safe and I start working on a load for it.

Really surprised at the lack of interest.
