weather reports

what do you guys use for weather./storm reports in the mountain?
options other than smartphone.

i see garmin has the monterra but the reviews maybe not so good, looks like has room for improvement

I plug the NOAA weather frequency for my area into my handheld shortwave and get the weather updates that way.
